A sterling job: fresh, savvy and appreciative ... especially the "directed as though the cast were on a treadmill, and told to grab everyone in the Hobby Center by the hand and whisk them along." (And our reviewer is right, of course: The helicopter scene is a stunner. But nothing can rival the melancholy power of the turntable scene in Les Miz.)

Dear Ms. Beretto,
It seems to me that you feel compelled to make a disparaging comment about almost everyone in the cast, along with your faint praise. I attended this production five times in a row. Each time I engaged in conversation with many audience members, all of whom were quite willing to be taken by the hand and led along on this amazing journey that Bruce Lumpkin has created. I've seen other incarnations of the show and this was my favorite. I could find no fault in it and neither could any of the other reviewers.
Respectfully submitted,
Margaret Wunschl
